We have been made aware that one of our clients has been sent a very convincing letter in the post, suggesting they have an outstanding payment that needs to be made immediately. We want to make everyone aware of this and how to identify if a letter is genuine or part of a scam.

If a letter comes through the post and it doesn’t look quite right, please do not act on it until you are certain that it is genuine.

We get it, these things can be so convincing, and we all know of someone who has unfortunately been caught out. Always air on the side of caution!

If you are suspicious of a letter:

  • Don’t use the contact number listed on the letter
  • Instead, reach out using the contact details you already have for the organisation
  • Ask them directly if you have an outstanding balance with them and get them to confirm to you what that balance is

If you are still unsure, we are here to help. Send us a screenshot of the letter and we will do our best to check to see if the liability they are requesting is a genuine outstanding balance or not.

Send to contact@whyfield.co.uk or message via WhatsApp 0777 49 39 111

We can have a look and help you get in contact with the right people.
