Bookkeeping and Payroll Assistant
Meg joined the Whyfield team, in January 2024, as our bookkeeping and payroll assistant. Within this role, she assists the team with monthly and quarterly bookkeeping, VAT returns, and payroll duties, as well as studying alongside to gain her Level 3 AAT qualification.
Before working with us, Meg gained her experience in bookkeeping and payroll when working for another accountancy firm. This is where she first started her accounting career, studying her Level 2 AAT qualification.
After being introduced to the company, and seeing the working environment, the social and wellbeing activities, and (of course) our 4-day working week, she knew that this was the right move, giving her better work-life balance.
When she’s not in the office, you’ll most likely find Meg doing up her house (having just moved down from Lincolnshire), spending quality time with her partner and daughter, or knitting!
