Accountancy firm Whyfield has continued its rapid expansion with the arrival of two experienced accountancy professionals.
Laura Booth and Annabelle Forrest have joined the Truro-based firm to meet continued demand from its growing client list. Whyfield now has a team of 11 after expanding by 50% over the past 12 months thanks to its modern approach enabling clients to have quick access to financial performance and direct contact with qualified accountants.
Laura has relocated to Cornwall from Sussex where she spent 12 years with a firm in Worthing. Over that time Laura gained significant skills in accounts, audit, bookkeeping, payroll and tax whilst developing client management experience. She has expertise in a variety sectors including defence, hospitality and real estate whilst advising clients from start ups right through to multi-million turnover organisations. She is currently studying towards the Association of Certified Chartered Accountants qualification.
Commenting on her move to Whyfield, Laura said: “I was attracted to Whyfield’s fresh approach which embraces clear communication and digital accountancy. I’m really excited to be working alongside a great team in a beautiful part of the world.”
Also new to Whyfield is accountant Annabelle Forrest. Annabelle has joined from a local firm in Cornwall where she has spent the past 18 months advising clients on accountancy, bookkeeping and payroll. Annabelle began her accountancy career with Volunteer Cornwall where she spent 7 years and passed both her Association of Accounting Technicians (AAT) foundation and advanced diploma exams. She is now studying towards her AAT Level 4 professional diploma.
On joining, Annabelle said: “I’m really pleased to be continuing my career in practice with such a dynamic firm and client base.”
