Join us on 19th September, at The Alverton, as we enter the 1920s with a night of networking and celebrations, along with a 3-course dinner, drinks, and an interactive murder mystery game.
We were founded back in 2014, by Laura and Roxane, with a dream of creating a company that cares about their clients and employees alike. A place they wanted to work.
With this ethos for good work, fast-forward 10 years, and Whyfield has grown from a team of two, to three, to 22, with a well-respected name, multiple awards, a gorgeous office space, and a roster of over 1,600 clients for whom we provide exceptional accounting services, fully embracing digital.
We could write so much about how we’ve grown and adapted over the years (did anyone say 4 day week?), but for now, we just want to say ‘thank you so much’ to everyone that has supported us over our decade of business. Whether you’re a client who’s been with us since the beginning, you’ve just joined us, you’re an employee, a shareholder, a partner, a collaborator, a friend… we truly appreciate you all.
So, to all of you greats, we hope you can put the ‘great’ in our Great Gatsby themed party, celebrating 10 years together.
This one-night-only event is a chance for us to celebrate with you, while also raising funds for a list of amazing charities close to our hearts, to be announced on the evening.
The theme may be 1920s, but please don’t feel pressured to dress up. Whatever eveningwear you feel comfortable in would be perfect. We’ll have a few accessories available on the evening, in case you fancy donning a feather boa that you hadn’t originally intended on!
We’ll be joined by the cast at Murder by Appointment as they add suspense and intrigue to the evening… much like the feeling we all have when on hold to HMRC.
Murder by Appointment are the longest established murder mystery company in the west and have established a reputation for their high quality performances. We are thrilled that they can join us on this special immersive evening.
And… the food.
We have a fantastic menu for the evening (you can view it below) which you can enjoy as the stories unfold. This is to be pre-ordered before the evening.

The event starts at 7pm. Please arrive in good time so you can enjoy a welcome drink and chat before settling down for the first course and first scene.
The event should come to a close by 11pm.
Raffle tickets can be purchased on the night. Please bring cash if you can, but we will have a small card machine just in case.
Raffle prizes will be drawn before the event comes to a close.
We would obviously love to see your take on the theme, but please don’t feel you have to. Please wear whatever eveningwear you feel comfortable in.

We are limited on tickets, so if you would like to come along, please purchase yours as soon as you can to avoid disappointment. We’ll be closing ticket sales two weeks before the event so we’re able to organise seating, menu options, and the other details.
